Interloop celebrates record sales and LEED Platinum rating
 
                        Pakistan-headquartered textiles and clothing group Interloop has reported a 31% increase in sales for its financial year 2024 to a record Rs156 billion (£430 million).
The group said this demonstrated a “steadfast commitment to driving growth” ands was driven by “demand stabilisation and targeted initiatives”.
Interloop Denim produces 580,000 units of denim garments per month and plans to expand to 1.5 million pieces by 2026, partly achieved by the expansion of its apparel park, which has been awarded LEED Platinum certification by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), achieving a score of 94 points.
The 1.25 million-square-foot facility includes energy-saving systems, water management technology and a 20% water recycling rate, supported by an effluent treatment plant. It is also powered extensively by renewable energy, including biomass boilers.
The facility has increased the group’s knitwear production to 45 million pieces annually.
