Pitti debut for Gabba-Isko tie-up
Danish denim brand Gabba and Turkey-headquartered mill Isko have presented a collaboration at menswear show Pitti Immagine Uomo (January 14 to 17) that “enhances the simplicity of raw denim while boosting its performance”.
The core of the Gabba x Isko collection is SelfDry, a new finish that reduces drying time while preserving the fabric’s raw texture with a look inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, according to the company.
Gabba used the fabric to create nine styles, including jeans, denim jackets, kimonos and bags.
At the Gabba booth at Pitti Uomo, a supersized version The Supernormal Denim Bag welcomes visitors, showcasing the collaboration.
In the coming weeks, the showpiece will tour the fashion weeks of selected European cities, including Copenhagen.
