ISKO: ‘dirty whites’ and sun-bleached looks on the horizon
Sun-bleached looks, ‘dirty whites’ and tea-stained aesthetics are among the updates Turkish mill ISKO sees for spring-summer 2027, its new collection offering range of fibres and recycled blends, using material from sister company RE&UP.
“We are focusing on commercially ready fabrics with creativity and innovation,” senior PR and communications manager Keith O’Brien told Inside Denim. “As well as lightweight and stretch, we have updated rigid fabrics with knife-edge twills, new ring-spun slubs, twills and textured constructions.”
Colour is a central element in the collection, as are grey tones such as Xenon Grey and Blue Stone. “The Dirty White collection is building on a trend we see for the season – an evolution of ecru,” added Mr O’Brien. “We also have plays on the colour effects, including earthy tones.”
ISKO’s Creative Room team in Castelfranco, Italy, work with trends companies to help produce the looks, which are made in the group’s Turkish facilities.
Utility, rugged 2/1 constructions and linen wefts; and Neo Vintage & Y2K, resinized hand-feels and nostalgic washdowns, were also presented.
Other highlights for SS27 include:
- Mechanica: a mono-material stretch concept delivering elasticity through construction, made from organic and recycled cotton
- Wondersoft: fabrics offering superior softness and comfort
- Lightweights: fibre blends combining durability and breathability; and
- Authentik: preserves the true denim look while adding wearability for everyday comfort.
