Los Angeles-based laundry Star Fades International (SFI) has partnered with The Lycra Company to offer brands operating in the Americas access to Lycra FitSense denim technology. A solution to provide targeted shaping in jeans, the patented yarn and garment processing technology will be available at SFI’s facility in Los Angeles and Artistic Milliners new plant in Mexico. Products are expected to be commercially available for the SS26 season.

“This collaboration combines AM Mexico’s and SFI’s deep understanding of denim manufacturing with The Lycra Company’s fibre and fabric innovation expertise. By launching production in the Western Hemisphere, we are committed to providing our brand partners with faster lead times and increased flexibility,” commented Murtaza Ahmed, co-founder of SFI and director at Artistic Milliners.
