A focused edition for Kingpins NYC
Kingpins organisers have announced that 690 attendees from nearly 320 companies visited the latest of edition of the denim trade show held in New York City where some 80 denim companies exhibited. Attendance for the two-day event was slightly higher than that of the 2024 edition, they said.

This edition featured a few new initiatives including a section dedicated to Japanese denim (Made in Japan) and a pedagogical section (Denim 101) to accompany newcomers to the industry. To support innovation, Kingpins has introduced a new area, The Jeanius Hub, for companies developing more sustainable and disruptive technologies for the industry. The first session featured LAB Denim, Circ, COLOURizd and Circulose.

The Boxes also promote creativity and innovation in denim, featuring an exploration into ‘Algae Alchemy’ by AGI Denim and Living Ink Technologies and a preview of the future Denim Institute & Museum in Los Angeles along with a tattoo-oriented showcase by denim & tattoo artist Jorge Marugo, founder of the Jxrge brand and innovative designs by Future Fit Forum participants, including Triachy’s Taubenfligel.
