Tonello ramps up speed with THE Laser 2.0
Finishing technology company Tonello has unveiled an update to its laser technology: THE Laser 2.0, which accelerates marking times thanks to its “Turbo” and “Hyper” modes.
The Italian company unveiled the first iteration of THE Laser in 2020, introducing the four laser systems and the CREA software, the result of “many months of hard work after listening to customers’ suggestions".
Other updates for 2.0 include that it is more compact, easier to maintain, and has a new dynamic focusing system for accuracy. THE Laser 2.0 is also fully retrofittable, allowing brands and manufacturers to integrate it into existing production lines. CREA provides tools for automated optimisation and multiple working modes, bridging design and production.
Tonello says the system reflects a growing focus on combining speed, accuracy and flexibility in modern garment finishing.
