Wouter Munnich’s brand Long John has partnered nautical-focused brand Captain Santors for a men’s denim waistcoat, crafted as a tribute to Italian craftsmanship. 

Made from rinsed 12oz Japanese denim, it will develop unique character like a pair of well-worn jeans, said Mr Munnichs, and marks the first denim version of Captain Santors’ vest.

It is lined with a Japanese fabric, featuring a traditional indigo pattern, while the buttons are crafted from Corozo [made from the nuts of the tagua palm tree] and produced in Bologna, Italy.
