Long John creates The Lucky Golden Button
Denim consultant Wouter Munnichs’ Long John brand has teamed up with trims supplier APXPRESS for a limited-edition necklace, paying homage to the gold miners of mid-1800s California who were early drivers of the denim industry.

The Lucky Golden Button’s laurel leaf design was used by jeans brands during World War II and is recognised as a symbol of peace, protection and victory. 

It has been co-created by the Davide Bionde, founder of the Hen’s Teeth denim brand.

Mr Munnichs said: “It's always a pleasure to work with passionate people who want to bring something to a new level and standard. APXPRESS is a key player within the industry. The outcome of the collab feels like a celebration of our shared passion for denim and our years of friendship.''
