Wouter Munnichs, through his brand Long John, has teamed up with Italian socks-maker Heritage 9.1 for a limited-edition design inspired by selvedge denim.

‘The Dutchie’ is a tribute to denim culture and the Dutch national flag: red, white, and blue. 

Wouter said: “The socks embody the shared Dutch and Italian passion for denim, a bond that has connected us for years.” 

The socks are crafted in a small Italian artisan factory that has been operating since the 1970s. Specialising in cotton and terry socks, the workshop continues to use traditional production methods. The cotton is sourced from Italy and dyed in authentic colours that "honour the past".
