PV Denim attracts larger audience
The latest edition of PV Denim was smaller in terms of exhibitors, compared to last May, with 65 companies taking booths, but it attracted a greater number of visitors, with 2,300 denim industry professionals coming to the show, up from 2,100. The European focus of the show was even stronger for this edition as its second day fell on major US holiday Thanksgiving.

Innovation remains a key focus for trade shows, and PV Denim is no exception. New solutions for the denim industry that were on show included AMSilk’s biotech protein fibre at PureDenim, XLANCE, a novel non-elastane stretch yarn, and biotech dye producer Chloris. The organisers have announced the launch of a special project with the company. A select group of denim mills will explore the potential of its low-impact biobased dye and the first developments are expected to be presented at the show’s May edition (20 & 21 May, 2026), in Milan.

PV Denim owner GL Events is considering organising a show in Japan. “Denim Premiere Vision remains an itinerant show,” show manager Fabio Adami Dalla Val told Inside Denim. “We will travel where it makes sense for the denim industry. But today and throughout 2026, Milan is the right place to be.” This decision is not only about “providing stability in an unstable world” but also because “Milan is a dynamic city” that remains an attractive destination for fashion industry professionals. “The fashion division of GL Events has a strong platform and we will explore all opportunities that support our customers’ business,” he said.
