Italy-Pakistan denim centre inaugurated

CEO of Crescent Bahuman, Rizwan Shafi and Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, Andreas Ferrerese, jointly inaugurated the Italy-Pakistan Textile (Denim) Technology Center at Pakistan’s National Textile University, Faisalabad, in mid-November. 

Dr Amjed Javid and Dr Munir Ashraf, both of National Textile University, were commended by attendees for their efforts in making the new department a reality. 

The new centre for denim technology was established with support from the Italian government and the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers. 

National Textile University is the highest-ranking institution of textile education in Pakistan.
