Denham’s ‘most authentic’ denim to date

Denim brand Denham recently announced the launch of its “most authentic” denim to date, in partnership with Dutch jeans manufacturers Grivec Bros.
The fruit of the collaboration is the Razor jeans, handmade from limited-edition virgin selvedge Candiani denim, launching on February 18.
Produced in accordance with “original” denim manufacturing techniques on 80-centimetre shuttle looms, the 200-piece collection took three months to make.
Each pair of Razor jeans was cut from “premium”, selvedge dry denim of 40% BCI-certified cotton origin and has a unique Denham x Grivec Bros. limited edition stamp on the right side of the interior pocket, complete with the signatures of Jason Denham and the brothers Grivec, Roger and Marcel.
On the left of the pocket lining, there is a special “wear calendar” (with space to record the wear pattern for up to four years), made with natural ecru cotton drill. Other “authentic” design details include felled seams, chain stitch hems and in-set belt hoops.
The brothers Grivec first learned how to sew a pair of jeans while visiting Denham’s sewing academy in autumn 2009.
