US retailer targets Gen Z through denim
US retailer Pacsun has focused on denim, as its best-selling category, for its latest campaign, featuring actress and social media star Jules LeBlanc, who has 19 million followers on TikTok.

This follows a partnership with YouTuber Emma Chamberlain for its spring 2021 campaign.

Pacsun said styles such as Pacsun boyfriend jeans, high rise straight vintage, Dad fit and 90s inspired are selling out.

Brie Olson, president of Pacsun, said: "After a trying year, our hope with this campaign is to bring a little light and promote a focus on wellbeing and reconnection.

"We wanted to take our consumers on a journey and give them an escape as adventure travel is at the top of most Gen Zers to-do list and we want to be with them on this journey."

Pacsun said it wants to “take advantage of the TikTok phenomenon, partnering with new talent and building entertaining content to draw users in to engage with the brand”.
