Australian denim designers singled out as ‘sustainable innovators’

Australian denim designers singled out as ‘sustainable innovators’
Outland Denim has again been nominated for an Australian Fashion Laureate award.  

This year, the brand’s founder, James Bartle, has been singled out in the sustainable innovation category. 

Other brands nominated in the category include Kitx (designer Kit Willow) and Bassike (designers Mary-Lou Ryan and Deborah Sams), both of which offer denim, plus swim and resortwear brand Commas (designers Emma and Richard Jarman).  

Winners across all categories will be announced at a ceremony in Sydney on November 30.
