Positive start for South Korea’s Decet

New denim brand Decet, based in South Korea, may only have launched in October, but it is already stocked by ten local e-retailers, including Musinsa, W Concept and 29CM.
The company, which is targeted mainly at millennials and generation Z, particularly prides itself on its “100% biodegradable” fabrics, including cotton and Gracell, a proprietary wood pulp fibre made by Sichuan-based Yibin Grace Co.
Around 70% of Decet’s range is primarily geared towards men, according to reports, with the remaining 30% targeted at women. Local media said that the denim line is priced competitively, especially given its "quality".
Wholesale distribution to China is set to commence early next year.
