Buckaroo drops capsule alongside local tailors

South Korean denim label Buckaroo has partnered local tailoring company Fotton Garment on a menswear capsule, Tailored for Man.
The collection primarily hangs upon denim jeans in three washes (ivory, indigo blue and black), which Korean media described as made with “premium quality materials from Turkey”, as well as a safari jacket available in two colours: beige and black.
Reportedly, the intention behind the garments was to craft comfortable formalwear in limited quantities, designed to promote an increased sense of desirability from the articles’ perceived scarcity and exclusivity (drawing from Fotton’s reputation as a maker of bespoke suits, combined with Buckaroo’s own premium price point).
Currently available only inside Fotton’s Gangnam, Seoul branch and from a special pop-up location within Gangnam’s Shinsegae department store, future plans are said to include the co-creation of a full denim suit from the partners.
