Mixxo tailors denim to ‘Korean’ figures

Like Buckaroo before it, South Korean fashion brand Mixxo, based in Seoul, recently released two styles of what it has called Fit Up denim jeans, specifically designed with “the fit and length that best suits Korean women” in mind.

Both bootcut and straight-leg versions of the jeans are on offer, either 160 centimetres or 165 centimetres in length and in two different washes: indigo and light indigo.

The sizing ranges from 24 to 30 and the denim has been blended with Lycra fibre for a stretchy fit, including a banded waist to better hug the body. Made in China, the fabric composition is 99% cotton and 1% Lycra.

Straight-leg Fit Up jeans launched via Mixxo’s website on March 10, with the bootcut style set to follow on March 14. Both versions will be available for purchase in-store from mid-May.
