Treated with Wiser Wash’s proprietary ozone bleaching technology, which requires only 200 millilitres of water for decolourisation, the resulting garments take inspiration from classic denim trends while looking to the future with a keen eye on sustainability, Elleti said.
The company also participated in Bluezone's The Italian Luster, an area dedicated to spotlighting Italy’s supply chain. Other made-in-Italy firms involved included trims manufacturer ACM, denim developer Berto, design and production specialists FashionArt, packaging and trimmings group Cadica and textile producer Olimpias.
Elsewhere, chemicals group Officina39, textiles consultancy Meidea and fibre manufacturer Lenzing previewed the third chapter of their joint Circle Book concept, this time called Re-establish Framework, which saw circularity-minded contributions from new partners and design teams hailing from Italy, Mexico and Argentina.
Alongside denim maker Prospertity Textile, Officina39 also took part in Denim Then and Now, an exhibition inspired by the work of textile chemicals certification body Bluesign and its “holistic” efforts to foster a climate of cleaner chemistry and production processes over the past two decades.
