Update from ZDHC on manmade cellulosic fibres

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) programme released an updated version of its guidelines for producing manmade cellulosic fibres (MMCFs) at the start of January.

ZDHC said this update, version 2.0 of the guidelines, would help “push the industry towards increasingly innovative and sustainable fibre production”.

This new version includes specific chapters on the responsible production of fibres, wastewater treatment and air emissions control.
