Bluesign makes sustainability best practice guide public

Swiss textile chemicals certification body Bluesign has issued an open-source guide “aimed at fostering rapid adoption of sustainable materials and practices across industries.”
Published alongside its network of system partners, now 800 companies strong, the idea is to facilitate immediate updates and “a swift and reliable verification process”, thanks to QR codes designed to check applicants’ certification status. Its integration with partners’ own internal communications also makes it easier to share links to their most up-to-date activities.

The guide's release marks another step forward in transforming “mere verification tools” into “dynamic platforms for sustainable material sourcing”, Bluesign said.
