Return journey for G-Star’s denim plane
Denim brand G-Star Raw will be displaying its 13-metre private jet covered in its denim waste at menswear show Pitti Uomo in Florence this week (January 9 to 12).

The Dutch brand commissioned artist Maarten Baas to create the installation for Milan Design Week 2023. 

Gwenda Van Vliet, chief marketing officer at G-Star, said: “It’s great to be back in Florence at the pinnacle of menswear fashion to show what the future of denim looks like. The world of art has always inspired our craftsmanship and approach to denim while respecting people and planet.”
