Jonathan Cheung to lead Lululemon’s creative shake-up

Canadian athletic apparel and footwear brand Lululemon has appointed Jonathan Cheung global creative director alongside JJ Collier as vice-president of design for outerwear. 

A denim industry veteran of Levi’s, Armani Jeans, Iceberg and Moschino, Mr Cheung has more recently worked or consulted for firms like Unspun, Pangaia, Infinited Fiber, Bolt Threads, Old Navy, 3D-printed shoe company Hilos and Future Tech Lab. 

Last year, he oversaw AGI Denim’s thirtieth anniversary collection, Tomorrowlab. 

Meanwhile, Mr Collier has served in a variety of positions at VF Corporation, Ralph Lauren, Spyder and Salomon. He joins the Lululemon team in a newly created role.
