Rudolf releases bio-based update to its Hydrocool range

Bavarian chemicals supplier Rudolf has unveiled a host of new, “durable” bio-based formulations as part of an update to its Hydrocool moisture management line of performance chemistry for textile applications.
Derived from renewable raw material, the products’ bio-based ingredients have been engineered to deliver “highly performing, long-lasting and undoubtedly safe” effects for both human skin and the environment alike, commented business development manager, Stephan Muller. Their efficiency is also equal to the company’s original Hydrocool line-up, it said.
Finishing agent Ruco-Pur Bio SLB, suitable for cellulosics, synthetics and blended fibres, contains 43% bio-based content, whereas soil release agent Feran Bio ICR has 87%. Both provide “maximum wash resistance”, Rudolf added.
