Rudolf digitally ‘lifts the curtain’ on its chemistry

Rudolf Hub1922, the fashion subsidiary of the German chemicals maker, has teamed up with Italian design studio Dotdotdot to create a digital space that will enable brands to see how its solutions work at the molecular level.

Designers and product managers are increasingly interested in safer chemistry and want information to be “scientifically sound, consumer-relevant and, above all, exciting”, according to Alberto De Conti, head of Rudolf Hub1922.

He added: “The goal is to lift the curtain on some of the wonders that define Rudolf, change the way chemistry is viewed, present sustainability as a tangible topic and create a modern environment for mutual understanding and dialogue.”

Laura Dellamotta, co-founder of Dotdotdot, explained: "Dotdotdot has designed an interactive experience where a round table is waiting to be activated by the placement of garments to trigger content. The stories being told unfold in the space, taking visitors on an emotional journey at the intersection of chemistry, sustainability, nature and textiles."
