Evlox’s Lony denim was canvas for Diesel skirt-belt

OTB-owned Italian fashion brand Diesel used "super-stretch" Lony fabric from Spanish mill Evlox for autumn-winter's striking “streaky denim” skirt-belt, the latter has revealed.
The low-waist design, which can be worn as either a belt or a skirt, has been finished with an all-over, streaky dirt-effect finish, as Diesel described it, with the label’s D logo placed front and centre.
Priced at $575, the 100% cotton, wrap-style article is available in either dark blue or blue-beige and fastens with a Velcro closure.
Led by creative director Glenn Martens, who also oversees Paris-based Y Project, this season’s skirt-belt is an evolution of the more micro, ovine leather versions Mr Martens sent down the runway for autumn-winter 2022.
Y Project has similarly used Evlox’s Columbus denim fabric in the past.
