Renzo Rosso promotes Italian craftsmanship through docuseries

Italian fashion group OTB, owner of Diesel Jeans and Jil Sander, has concluded its docuseries about Italian manufacturers: Made in Italy, Made Perfectly.
Launched last September, it tells the stories of companies along the supply chain, showcasing their skills and high-quality workmanship.
The series included denim mill Candiani, where it interviewed managing director Alberto Candiani and marketing director Simon Giuliani, as well as denim finishing plant LIM.
It also included tannery Rino Mastrotto, leathergoods manufacturer Sagi, and shoe factories Walles and Stephen.
Renzo Rosso, founder of the OTB Group, said: “Eighty percent of the world's luxury goods are produced in Italy and it is the small producers, the small artisan businesses, who are the true artists who give life to the products we see in fashion shows and boutiques around the world.
“I strongly believe that in fashion, 50% of the product is made by the creative director, and the remaining 50% by the artisans. With this campaign we pay homage to the unique skills of those behind the scenes of Made in Italy and I hope that it can encourage more and more young people to approach these professions that make our country great in the world.”
The videos are available on YouTube or on OTB's LinkedIn and Instagram profiles.
