Denim Expert invests to meet water goals
 
                        Mill and manufacturer Denim Expert is adding biological effluent treatment plant equipment to its facility in Bangladesh to help it towards its goal of 100% water recycling and zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.
The system, which biological uses bacteria and other microbes to clean contaminated water, will help the mill align with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Wastewater Guidelines Version 2.0.
Mostafiz Uddin, CEO of Denim Expert, said: "The establishment of this new biological ETP is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to practices that uphold our values and contribute to a healthier planet for future generations."
Beyond its environmental initiatives, Denim Expert champions corporate social responsibility by employing marginalized individuals, including survivors of human trafficking and those with disabilities.
