Bangladesh-based Denim Expert recently announced that it had made schoolbags from leftover denim fabric and distributed them among underprivileged children from nearby schools. 

The mill said that this move not only demonstrated its commitment to circularity, but also its “love” for local children. 

Denim Expert made headlines in November after being singled out by the World Economic Forum for an honourable mention in the Excellence in Sustainability category of its New Champions awards initiative.
