Positive business mood at PV Denim
Nearly 2,100 denim industry professionals, from 1,000 different companies, made the trip to visit the 80 suppliers exhibiting at the Milan-based denim show organised by Première Vision and held last week. This edition was the first to showcase a special section dedicated to sourcing in Morocco, following a partnership with the country’s textile and apparel federation AMITH.

A series of special events was organised around the show, including a diner organised by Rudolf Hub 1922, last April, and a trip to visit Officina39’s lab and showroom in Biella.

The event was also the launchpad for a series of new ranges. Xlance exhibited for the first time its long-lasting stretch yarn which has specific properties suited to denim processing. Sharabati presented its new division dedicated to flats and gabardines, Twillis. Woolmark was also a first-time exhibitor, to showcase the potential of wool in the world of denim.

“The success of this edition confirms our commitment to create a premium and high-calibre event that offers the denim community opportunities to grow their business,” stated Fabio Adami Dalla Val, Denim Première Vision show manager.

PV Denim is now solidly anchored in Italy, as more than 60% of the visitors came from the country for this edition. The next show will also be held at Superstudio Più, on November 26 and 27.
