Gap’s latest collaboration is with New York-based designer Sandy Liang, who has envisaged her feelings as child as inspiration for the limited-edition collection.

The animated short film, ‘Sandy's Dream Closet’, shows a young Sandy in her flat above her father’s Cantonese restaurant as she imagines the fashion possibilities of the future.

She said: “I wanted to take the pieces that meant something to me as a kid and reimagine them through my lens today, celebrating girlhood in all its forms, while honouring the iconic styles that make Gap so timeless.”
