Cone Denim launches Clean Water

Cone Denim’s newest Cone Community Collection fabric (a line of selvedge fabrics designed to raise awareness for select causes), Clean Water, launched in mid-November.
The brand will donate a portion of all proceeds from the sale of Clean Water denim to Water.org, an international non-profit which provides access to safe water and sanitation.
Cone’s Clean Water denim collection will feature a teal selvedge ID for water conservation awareness. Made from OCS-certified 100% organic cotton, with comfort stretch, the line will be dyed using the brand’s eco-friendly Distilled Indigo dye technology (“the cleanest on the market”, the company said).
President of Cone Denim, Steve Maggard stated: “Access to clean, potable water should be a basic human right. Water is a precious resource and Cone remains committed to responsible water hygiene and conservation efforts.”
The collection’s teal selvedge ID yarn is supplied in partnership with Cone’s sister brand, American & Efird (A&E).
