Officina+39 becomes Bluesign partner

Italian chemicals and dyes company Officina+39 has become a partner of Bluesign, the Swiss verification company that monitors chemical inputs.
It said this confirms a “longstanding pledge to minimise environmental impacts” by developing technologies that reduce energy and hazardous chemicals, while increasing waste recycling and water conservation.
Andrea Venier, Officina+39’s managing director, said: “We always say that going green is our passion. But it’s more than that: it is our first goal. Supporting the development of a better industry and preserving the world housing us all is extremely important to us and this partnership is a huge step towards what we hope will be a shared change for good.”
Officina+39 has recently moved its headquarters to a new facility in Biella, Italy.
Earlier this year, it launched its Aqualess Mission, three laundry products that together can reduce water consumption by up to 75% compared with traditional treatments, it claims.
