Bluezone stand space fully booked

Managing director for Munich-based international denim and textile trade fairs Bluezone and Munich Fabric Start, Sebastian Klinder, recently announced that the available stand space at both shows, due to take place between August and September, is already fully booked.

“Around 800” suppliers will be exhibiting their autumn-winter collections for 2022-23 across both fairs, Mr Klinder said, adding that the industry can “look forward to a grandiose, covid-19-compliant reunion”.

To be held at the Kulturhalle Zenith, Bluezone, specifically, will reportedly feature roughly 65 exhibitors, including Calik Denim, Berto, Officina +39 and Tejidos Royo, in addition to newcomers to the fair Advance Denim, Tat Fung and others.

The Coal Bunker, located within the Zenith building’s grounds, will take the form of a meeting area for Bluezone lectures, panel discussions and networking, as well as offering a covid-compliant space for catering.

In a nod to the “return” of the denim community to shows (and the tactile experience of fabrics), as well as what a press release described as “true sustainability”, the fair’s theme will be “Back to the future”.

Organisers will publish the finalised event programme in the coming weeks.
