NDM: one size fits more

Karachi-headquartered denim manufacturer Naveena Denim Mills (NDM) is poised to exhibit a new technology, Self-Fit, at upcoming trade shows Denim Première Vision Milan (running October 13 through 14) and Kingpins (October 19-21).
Constructed using NDM’s Lycra-blended Wraptech 2.0 stretch denim technology, Self-Fit promises to flexibly accommodate two sizes above and below each article’s stated label size (according to Lycra’s own tests), with “excellent” shape retention and recovery.
The mill said that this “one size fits more” style of fit means fewer product returns and improved inventory management for retailers, plus longer wear and greater durability for consumers.
“We know that increasing product returns are a huge problem for the industry, consumers and the environment. So, we thought about removing the causes of returns, which are mostly about size and fit,” commented head of global sales and marketing at NDM, Aydan Tuzun.
Ms Tuzun added that the strategic vision for Self-Fit was also about embracing size-inclusivity and body positivity.
