NDM reworks nostalgia with updated blends and fibres

22/10/2024

Pakistan-based Naveena Denim Mills’ latest collection revolves around three concepts, “capturing the essence of the past, present and future of denim fashion”.

‘Rewind’ draws on retro-inspired designs, celebrating nostalgia while incorporating contemporary comfort and eco-conscious fibres, including Tencel, marble-washes and slub effects.

‘Play’ focuses on high-stretch fabrics that cater to active lifestyles, with playful colours and innovative technology and blends with cottonised hemp.

‘Fast Forward’  includes technical advancements in construction and eco-conscious practices, with fabrics blended with Anam PALF fibre derived from pineapple leaf waste, and linen.

Aydan Tuzun, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Naveena Denim Mills, said: “We’ve woven together nostalgia, modern versatility and forward-thinking innovation. Each piece tells a story of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re headed — all while keeping sustainability at the heart of our efforts.”

The collections will be presented at Kingpins Amsterdam, October 23 and 24.
