Calvin Klein woos Inditex Greater China president
The president of Spanish fashion group Inditex’s Greater China business, Eva Serrano (pictured), has been named global brand president for Calvin Klein by parent company PVH, reporting to chief executive Stefan Larsson effective March 2023.

Currently based in Shanghai, Ms Serrano previously served as international commercial director for Inditex flagship brand Zara in Asia-Pacific after initially helping with its European business development.

In recent years, she has pursued executive-level management studies at Tsinghua University in Beijing, the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and IE Business School in Madrid, on top of earning a postgraduate degree in digital social media marketing from the University of Hong Kong-affiliated HKU Business School in 2017. She described her new role at Calvin Klein as a dream come true.

“Eva knows how to drive brand growth in global markets, how to connect with the consumer and what it takes to win across the marketplace,” Mr Larsson said of the decision. “She also deeply understands the disruptive forces in our industry and how to connect a brand’s core value proposition to where the consumer is going.

“Her experience will be critical to unlocking Calvin Klein’s full global potential and her appointment is an important next step in our continuing execution of the PVH+ Plan.”
