Siddiqsons outlines charitable initiatives

Pakistan-based denim and textiles maker Siddiqsons chose International Charity Day to outline some of the charitable work it undertakes through the Aziz Rafi Trust.
It provides purified water to local communities through hand pumps, donates to schools and colleges and provides a free IT centre for employees and locals.
It donates to The Health Foundation (Pakistan) and Aasra Society, pays into an education fund for employees’ children and organises sports days and firefighting training for locals.
It has also recently instigated pay rises, despite not being requested to by the government.
It said: “We have proactively implemented the necessary adjustments to reflect the minimum wage increase and provided our employees with salary raises.
“In these challenging times of inflation, Siddiqsons Limited remains committed to supporting our employees and ensuring their wellbeing.”
