Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presented awards to 65 leading exporters and taxpayers at a ceremony in Islamabad.

Among the recipients, Tariq Rafi, the chairman of Siddiqsons Group, was recognised as the fourth highest taxpayer.

Established in 1959, Siddiqsons Group has interests in denim manufacturing, real estate and construction, tin and dairy.

At the ceremony, the prime minister distributed 40 awards to textiles, sports, surgical goods, pharmaceuticals, food and steel exporters.
