HMS Baytech joins Ellen MacArthur Foundation

Baytech, the maker of pumice-alternative HMS (HandMadeStone), has joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's  Community, a global network of companies committed to accelerating the transition to a circular economy.

This will allow it to connect with like-minded organisations, sharing knowledge, best practice and solutions for the denim industry, it said.

Beyza Baykan, Baytech managing director, added: “As a company dedicated to sustainable practices in the denim industry, we strongly believe in the principles of circularity – eliminating waste and pollution, circulating products and materials, and regenerating nature.

“Our hand-made stones for denim washing, a sustainable alternative to pumice, are a testament to this commitment.”
