HMS and CleanKore begin long-term partnership
Clean-tech innovators HMS (HandMadeStone) and CleanKore are working together on a pilot project with the aim of bringing an integrated solution to market.
CleanKore’s dye technology makes indigo bond only to the outer surface of a yarn, which saves water, chemicals and energy and speeds up process times.
HMS makes an alternative to pumice stones; its circular washing stones eliminate sludge and reduce water usage.
HMS CEO Beyza Baykan said: “CleanKore is transforming the beginning of the denim journey and HMS is transforming the end. By combining our technologies and vision, we will be able to offer the denim world a comprehensive concept to significantly reduce their environmental footprint while saving on time and cost.”
Additional initiatives, pilot results and commercial programs will be announced in the coming months.
