Regenagri chooses first traceability partner
When it updated its standards earlier this year, regenagri announced the introduction of more stringent traceability protocols, adding a further layer of insurance to the agricultural products it certifies. The UK-based organisation, which is a Community Interest Company (C.i.C), a form of social enterprise, supports regenerative farming and farmers. It has named its first traceability partner, Haelixa, which has developed a solution based on DNA tracers. The Swiss company has formed numerous partnerships in textiles, precious metals and gemstones.

The regenagri Traceability Programme “addresses growing demand for rigorous traceability assurance, confirming the origin of regenagri products with unparalleled precision,” commented Franco Constantini, regenagri CEO.

The roll-out of new legislation with higher social and environmental standards in the European Union also encourages the use of tracing technologies and solutions.
