Naveena Denim Mills to feature silk and shaping

In the run-up to Kingpins, which opens next week in Amsterdam, Pakistan-based denim mill Naveena will be featuring two novel ranges. Lume is a silk-infused fabric engineered to infuse added softness and elegance to denim fabrics. The concept draws on the natural benefits of the luxury fibre, including drape, moisture-wicking, hypoallergenic properties and biodegradability. “Lume invites us to rethink what denim can feel like,” commented Aydan Tüzün, head of sales & marketing at Naveena Denim Mills. “It brings together silk’s luxurious tactility with the everyday strength of denim. It’s graceful, but grounded—and that’s a space we’re excited to lead in.”

TrueShape is another Naveena development addressing the women’s market. It features The Lycra Company’s Lycra FitSense denim technology, a novel fabric and garment engineering solution that delivers precision shaping and zoned support in key areas such as the tummy, waist, bum, and thighs.
