Milano Unica opens tomorrow
The Fiera Milano (Rho) fairgrounds will open their doors tomorrow for Italian fabric show Milano Unica. The event is held in halls 1 to 4 from July 8 to 10. More than 1,000 companies will be exhibiting their latest collections for Autumn/Winter 26/27 and Spring/Summer 2027. Milano Unica was born from the association of several textile trade events, with special sections set apart for some of the associated organisations. These include Moda In, IdeaBiella, Shirt Avenue and Mare di Moda.

Special events for its 41st edition are planned, with the opening ceremony and press conference, which will focus on Made in Italy excellence, taking place tomorrow at 11 am. As part of Performing MU trends, dance performances are also scheduled hourly.

The Lycra Company has announced its presence at the show, as it continues to promote a bio-derived version of its Lycra elastane yarn. It is hosting a brand lounge (Hall 4), within the Mare di Moda space.

C.L.A.S.S., a sustainable textile consultancy based in Milano, will also be presenting its selection of smart and sustainable fashion solutions. These include Spiber (JOBA13, hall 2), The Woolmark Company (E09, hall 2), Lenzing (A16, hall 3) and Pulvera (ST06, hall 4). A special project known as Alptextyle will be presenting a local wool-based textile ecosystem in hall 4, booth T08.
