Green Story to back Denim Deal with data

The Denim Deal has partnered “AI-first sustainability platform” Green Story to help build momentum in scaling post-consumer recycled (POCR) cotton across the denim value chain.

Green Story will provide the data for the Denim Deal’s upcoming annual report, scheduled for publication in the fourth quarter, and aims to support measurable outcomes that support commercial decision-making and regulatory readiness.

A key focus will be on the role of Digital Product Passports (DPPs), exploring their potential for consumer engagement, storytelling and transparency. 

The partnership could help brands to conduct circularity assessments, identify gaps and build roadmaps toward PCR cotton adoption without the need to hire large internal teams, they said.
