Wrangler to venture into footwear with Twisted X

Wrangler announced a licensing agreement with “sustainable” handcrafted footwear brand Twisted X at the National Finals Rodeo in Texas recently.
Wrangler Footwear will be made for men’s, women’s and children’s product ranges across the western, casual/modern, outdoor, work and work/casual categories.
It is hoped that both brands will be able to leverage their “expertise and abilities” to create an “innovative, high-quality collection”, which will resonate with both new and existing consumers, Wrangler said in a press release.
Vice president and general manager of Wrangler Western, Allen Montgomery, commented on the partnership: “This collection will advance Wrangler into the footwear category and we could not be more excited to bring these products to life with the help of Twisted X.
“Wrangler has always placed a priority on respecting our environment and with Twisted X’s remarkable sustainability efforts, we’re optimistic our inaugural venture into the category will be a huge milestone, not only for the brand, but for the entire western community.”
The collection will be available across “multiple channels” in the United States, Canada and US Territories (including Puerto Rico) from spring 2021.
