Cone first in North America to join Circulose Supplier Network

US mill Cone Denim has become first among its North American peers to sign up to Swedish pulpmaker Renewcell’s Circulose Supplier Network (CSN).
Circulose is a dissolving cellulose pulp made from 100% cotton-rich textile waste.
It can be used in the manufacture of regenerated manmade cellulosic fibres like viscose, lyocell, modal, acetate and more.
The newly formed CSN was initially announced last month as a consortium of 47 yarn and textile producers ostensibly committed to ensuring a “steady” supply of the pulp.
“We’re committed to making the textile value chain circular by increasing the percentage of recycled content in the denim fabrics we design, develop and bring to market,” said director of product and innovation, Caitlyn Holt.
