New role for True Religion as part of $500m bid
Californian denim brand True Religion has announced the appointment of Sandip Grewal to the new, dual role of chief financial and chief operating officer.
Mr Grewal will report directly to the company’s chief executive, Michael Buckley.
An alumnus of Boston University, where he received his Master of Business Administration, as well as the University of Delhi, the appointee most recently served as chief financial officer at Bradshaw International. Prior to that, he held down the same role at Dr Fresh.
In both cases, Mr Grewal’s work led to the successful sale of the businesses he had helped grow.

True Religion currently aims to hit $500 million in revenue.
