Second Blue Lenz Awards reel in
 
                        The second Blue Lenz Denim Video Awards were announced last week at Bluezone. The competition was created by Lenzing, an Austria-based producer of cellulosic fibres, and Bluezone is an official partner.
The Best Educational Video goes to the “Transformers ED Series” by Transformers Foundation.
Orta’s Blueskyer NFT video won best Denim Design.
Raymond UCO’s “A Day in the Life” was voted top sustainability film connecting to the UN SDGs.
“Roots in Looms” by Artistic Milliners and World Circular Textiles Day picked up the top slot in the Future Forward category.
Naveena Denim Ltd (NDL) x Salli Considered Fibre To Finish captured an honourable mention.
And… the CBL x Miles Johnson “A Lighter Touch” film took home the year’s best overall video award.
These can be seen on the Blue Lenz video channel on YouTube. Launched in January of 2020, it seeks to “capture and curate […] original video content, cover stories, education, sustainability initiatives, fabric innovations and trends from the denim community.” It currently features some 430 short films.
