Textile research and innovation hub Future Fashion Factory, based in the northern English city of Leeds, hosted its first annual showcase since 2019 on June 30.

Notable exhibitors included UK denim washing, finishing and reprocessing company LaundRe. Attendees, meanwhile, ranged from luxury brand Burberry to the UK Fashion & Textile Association, mills local to the wider Yorkshire region and beyond.  

Key themes such as regenerative agriculture, skills development, domestic nearshoring, data-driven design, next-generation fabrics, supply chain sustainability and net-zero were all variously considered through live demonstrations, keynotes, roundtables and displays.
