Print focus for Prosperity Textile at Intertextile Apparel

Guangzhou-based denim producer Prosperity Textile’s jeans-making capabilities were on full display during trade exhibition Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (Intertextile Apparel) in late August.
Prosperity, founded in 2002 in Shaoguan, Guangdong province, is also known as the company behind “one-stop” denim development and white-label supplier Denergy Apparel.
The business’ booth at Intertextile Apparel showcased its work with “new fibres” like recycled cotton, hemp, Tencel lyocell and Renewcell’s Circulose. This was in addition to printed denims manufactured with Stella Blu-NTX Cooltrans’ “waterless” textile colouration technology and Stella Blu Clone+, as well as 3-in-1 finishing concept Denim Future.
Other highlights included lightweight, approximately 5.6-ounce denim made from 100% Tencel. The decision to print effects straight onto plain Tencel fabric, as opposed to more traditional cotton, for example, significantly reduces each garment’s weight and even function.
Standout articles included a double-printed, tropical-themed denim jacket with complicated washing effects and prototype “eco-denim aroma” printed jeanswear, which harnesses Metaray-facilitated, customisable deodorising technology.
